This year’s Law Oration was delivered by Lord Walker on 4 September 2012 to a full house at the Banco Court.
Speaking on the topic “Developing common law – how far is too far?” Lord Walker provided an international look at the role of judges in the development of common law.
The Law Oration is a free public lecture presented annually by Victoria Law Foundation and Melbourne Law School.
