In the early hours of Tuesday 15 May, an atrocity of the legal kind occurred. The Law Week 2012 sash, last seen on Sir Redmond Barry himself, was stolen by malicious outlaws!
Rumours are rife as to why bandits would commit such a crime. Sir Redmond Barry, the judge who sentenced the hanging of Ned Kelly was also responsible for the establishment of the State Library, the University of Melbourne, the National Gallery, the Museum and the Supreme Court Library.
If you know the whereabouts of the sash or circumstances surrounding the incident we urge you to contact us immediately.
As you were, Law Week comrades.
